Delicious, without fail, every time.

The donuts are awesome! They serve Umpqua ice cream, which is also tasty. They have hot food on the menu but I've never seen anyone order anything but donuts or ice cream. The space doesn't look great but so what? Get your donut to go and walk down Alberta.

The donuts are great, but I cannot go back there. Staff were not distancing and we're wearing masks so as not to cover the nose.

Don't let its unassuming appearance fool you. They make an epic breakfast bagel, and incredible donuts! :-)

As far as I’m concerned, the best donuts in town are here at Tonalli’s Donut & Cream. The coffee is decent, and service is always good. The location is excellent, in terms of having a place in the neighborhood to walk to. Very friendly service. Highly recommended.

Amazingly cozy and homey 'sugar' place on now too trendy street; like stepping into little neighborhood parlor with fresh delish donut varieties and ice cream. Kids & adults love it. Try the banana-infused buttermilk bars with caramel or chocolate or glazed topping. Crunchy and moist. Oh my!!!

LOVED the Blueberry Old Fashioned and the apple cider cake donut was like eating a green apple jolly rancher — highly recommended!

Cute spot with locally made ice cream (several flavors), wi-fi, burgers, and the donuts are amazing! Staff is sweet and super welcoming. Felt like a local for sure and put on a few pounds lol.

So far every donut I have tried here has been amazing. The apple fritters are the best I've ever had. The maple buttermilk is also a must try. Great prices too!

This place is the best place for ice cream. Great service, great variety of ice cream, and the staff is great. The donuts are just as good. The prices are good too. This business and staff deserve every ounce of praise and noteriety they've earned.

Great doughnuts and pastries. Open super early and with fresh warm doughnuts ready to go. The breakfast bagels are awesome and super affordable. Milkshakes and Lattes are also worthwhile. Great munch and breakfast food in a hurry...

I was looking up places to get donuts on Google and this place popped up because it was close to me at the time and all I can say is wow their donuts are out of this world and they taste fresh and they are fresh and ice cream is to die for I have the salted caramel coffee flavored ice cream and I am definitely going to go back and mediately for some more it is hands-down the best. Also the lady that was working I forgot her name but she was so sweet and bubbly and I could not have asked for a better experience will definitely be recommending and will be going back ♥️♥️♥️

Fantastic donuts in the Alberta district! I’d say best donuts in Portland. 10 out of 10 would recommend. That banana buttermilk is insane and their apple cider donuts are delicious too.

My favorite donuts in Portland, had an addicting Salted Caramel Milkshake on another fun Saturday walking through town. :-) All gone!

Biggest problem was too many choices... Doughnuts, ice cream, burger, fries, fritters... There was something for just about any craving. The line out the door was a testament to the great service and excellent menu items. We opted for the pastries which were superb but we definitely want to go back and sample the rest of the menu. Probably going to take a few trips 😋

The foundation of the donuts is amazing. The frosting and taste of them is good. 10 out 10 would go again.

Donuts and coffee are great, ice cream is nothing to write home to mom about. Staff was pretty good the first two times but the girl we encountered yesterday was less than pleasant and not at all a complimentary part of an otherwise pretty great place!!

This place is Gem hiding in plain sight. If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth and you're in North Portland than look no further. The prices are lower than elsewhere, yet they have quality doughnuts and icecream. If you pass this place up you're missing out.

When i went they didnt have any vegan options, but was told they will in JULY. That's weird.

Absolutely best fresh donuts in the area. The family prefer these donuts over the other ones that come in a pink box! They taste better, no real line to wait in, and a good variety of donuts to choose from. I would post pics, but they smelled so good the kids couldn't wait to chow down!

This locally owned, neighborhood shop gets extra points for being a beloved Alberta fixture more than for its donuts - which are okay, but pedestrian and slightly oily. The ice cream is Umpqua brand. We loved watching the neighborhood kids, teens and families coming in here for a treat. Prices are inexpensive and the scoopers are super friendly.

These are some of the best fresh donuts I have ever had, with excellent variety and the perfect ratio of firm/slightly crisp outside to soft inside. The ice cream is great, too - I love Umpqua. But more than just the good food, the entire atmosphere has a warm, family feel. My son is disabled and nonverbal, and sometimes his behavior in public can draw a few stares or dirty looks. But we have never felt less than welcome here, and not only that, but one of the lovely ladies that works there always remembers our order and greets my son on arrival. This was not after 5 or 10 visits, but on the second visit! Our Saturday morning trips to Angel's have become an anticipated treat, and I can recommend this place not just for the great food, but for the wonderful people that work there as well.

My husband and I stopped in for a sweet tooth fix. He ordered a peanut butter cup milkshake and thoroughly enjoyed it. I picked up a lemon filled donut and it was amazing. Just the right amount of lemony taste to the filling and complimented by a soft and sweet doughy exterior topped with just the right amount of powdered sugar and glaze. So good they're dangerous!
